The colour scale at bottom of each photograph shows the colors with coolest on left increasing by half a degree c to the warmer colours on the right.

 

The preferred temperature for the horse shown is in the light orange to yellow colour range.

 

The cooler areas are shown in green, indicating reduced circulation in these areas.

 

Note the cooler green pattern on the gluteals muscles, particularly the offside.

This picture shows the thermography of the same horse after Bowen Therapy.

 

You can see in the bottom right picture that the green cool area around the gluteals has now gone, and the preferred cooler colours of orange to yellow are now much more prevalent, indicating that circulation has improved and there is now increase blood supply to the area.
